Once Upon a Loom

Campaign 2025 — a lookbook on the weaver's bench.

“The loom is not a backdrop — it is the story. Every frame in this lookbook was shot beside the bench where the cloth was woven.”

On the bench

We spent three days in Chanderi with a third-generation weaver family. No stylists, no set dressing — only the pit loom, morning light through the workshop door, and the rhythm of the shuttle.

Light on the warp

Chanderi earns its reputation for translucence — silk warp, cotton weft, a cloth that holds colour without weight. The campaign stays in ivory, rani, and gold: the palette the loom prefers.

After the weave

Each length is signed on the inner selvedge. The lookbook ends where commerce begins — with pieces you can trace back to a bench, a town, and a pair of hands.
