Baani by Bhuvanesshi is a Kolkata-based textile house rooted in Chanderi, Bandhej, Ikat, and Mashru — techniques named, not genericised.
Philosophy
We present handloom the way a design atelier presents cloth — with restraint, with naming, with room for the weave to speak. No urgency language. No exclamation points. The product is the subject of the sentence.
Every piece in the shop names its technique, its region, and its maker where known. We photograph in warm, low-contrast light and let drape and texture carry the richness.
